Fat Bottom Girl Said What

My Tweet…

Lessons learned:Β  Great Clips should change their name to Mediocre Clips, or Marginal Clips, because you get what you pay for.

  1. So sorry but I laughed out loud! Hope it grows in soon.

  2. Awe! I hope it’s not too bad. Can someone fix it?

  3. HA!! That is so true! Great perspective!

  4. Yes! This! A thousand times this! We made the mistake of stopping by a Great Clips to get Andrea’s hair cut this summer. The bitch with the scissors actually tried to tell me that she had chlorine damage in her hair and was trying to sell me product. I point blank said, “Wow, you can get that much chlorine damage from swimming in a pool for half and hour a month and a half ago? Because that’s as much time as she has spent in a pool all summer.” Nice of you to assume all children swim in pools. Course, our summer was so cold this year that we really weren’t swimming anywhere, so how she would have had any damage from swimming was beyond me. Nice try on trying to get us to buy $30 worth of “restorative” product, though. You should go into car sales, especially since you can’t cut hair straight. Andrea’s bangs weren’t even even.
Then she tried to convince her that she shouldn’t dye her own hair black because it would break and fall off. Especially with all of her “chlorine damage.” So we should just pay you $60 for something I can do myself at home? Because of some imaginary condition she doesn’t have? Dumb bitch. Never. Again.

    • They must be consistently bad!! From what I have learned this morning, it seems as though my local “Mediocre Clips”, hires pretty much all their stylists right out of cosmetology school. Poor girls. . .if they didn’t know how to cut hair when they came out of school, they definitely aren’t learning at that place!! The manager tried to “fix it”, and only made it worse! Step away from the scissors!! Here’s a good lesson for anyone out there wanting to be a hairdresser—-just because you can learn how to cut hair, doesn’t mean you have the talent to actually be good at it!!! I think my state would be much better off doing some sort of apprenticeship program, because maybe they would actually learn something before they set them loose on people’s heads!!!

Wow, I think I just ranted too!! πŸ˜‰

  5. Wow. Sorry for the rant. Guess Great Clips is a touchy subject with me. Nice to know they’re consistent, though.

  6. I’ve always thought this place was scary…..yet, in a pinch, we are all still drawn back there! It easy and convenient, but they ALWAYS jack up your hair !!! πŸ™‚
