Fat Bottom Girl Said What

When my ass talks, people listen.

About

Why have I never written in this section?  I wasn’t really sure how to do it.  Plus, what the hell do I say about myself?  That I am fucked up, and can be slightly neurotic, that I overthink shit, that I feel things too deeply, that I seem to have extremely bad luck with men, that sometimes I drink too much, that I think I’m funny in a crude sort of way, that I consider myself to be a cool nerd, that I own power tools and know how to use them, that I still believe the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and also a little further south, that I want a big love, a big love that will last the rest of my life.  Basically, I am an eclectic nut, who can’t seem to find her niche.

  1. I wanted to like your About page, since it seems to be the blogger to blogger way to say “Hey, I stopped by and I think you are swell.” But you aren’t giving me much to wirk with, lady.

  2. lol. . .I was trying to figure out how to post some shit in here the other day, and couldn’t find the tab to do it! I will definitely have to remedy the situation, especially if you think I am swell. 🙂 Even though I’ve been blogging for a little over a year, I still don’t know exactly how to use this site. I just figured out how to post my blog roll the other day. I am technically inept!

  3. Hey, Just to let you know I have nominated you for ‘The Liebster Award’ here http://savedindrafts.wordpress.com/2013/01/02/the-liebster-award/ (if that link works lol) 🙂 Happy New Year

  4. This is (was) Broken Heart Recovery, my anonymous blog was compromised and became not so anonymous. I’ve changed my site address to http://www.stilllovinghim.wordpress.com Please continue to follow my journey through affair recovery.

  5. You had me at power tools. I can’t even hold a screw driver without fucking something up.

  6. Woman.. gave you a shout out today.. I referred to you as Kansas though because I totally doubt your bottom is fat. http://mancakestheblog.wordpress.com/2013/04/10/the-night-i-lost-my-virginity/

    • Are you kidding?? Sir Mix-a-lot wrote that song about me!!! hahaha I’m going to check it out right now, because it’s at the top of my Reader!! 🙂

      • Good to hear from you!! I was wondering where you’d gone!! I am in and out and trying to find some peace in my life right now. I have been giving myself permission not to write when I don’t feel like it, and letting go of some of the pressure of feeling like I needed to read absolutely every post by everyone I follow—all of it was getting to me. Hope you are doing well, and I will be following you once again. 🙂

  7. How have I not seen your blog before now?? WTF? I will be visiting you regularly from now on.

  8. I stopped by to thank for following my blog and for sharing a bit of your story with me there. I’ve read more here and understand that these are challenging times for you and your son. Hang in there. All the cliches are really true: one day at a time.

  9. And here I thought I was the only fat-bottomed girl around here. I guess I got schooled! Loving your blog!

I miss you so. It’s lonely here without you!!

    • I am so busy, and so emotionally and physically tapped right now. On top of trying to deal with all the feelings of my son being at his dad’s all the time, work is really sucking hind tit right now too. Thanks for telling me you miss me!! I miss you too! 🙂

  13. I love this page! Mainly because I haven’t done an About page either haha. But this gives me enough info to know I like you, we might be related, and I’m hitting follow.

  14. I love your blogs, your photos are very beautiful. I’ll be back… I also have a second blog on old pictures.

  24. You have good cheeks.

  25. I meant cheek, actually. Singular.

  26. You’ve been nominated for a Sunshine Award at http://www.bulgingbuttons.wordpress.com! Thanks for being so inspirational.

  27. Caught you on Ned’s Blog (thong, thong, thongitty thong) and had to see what’s up. I like your writing and ‘tude! Lately, I’ve been putting on weight; guess where? YUP 🙂

  28. Hey Look! I nominated you for “The Dragon’s Loyalty Award” too ( I read your post about it). I was nominated and I guess the rules say I have to nominate people too. Isn’t it bizarre that you need to do work for an award? Just saying– tag you’re it!….again I guess.

    • Thank you!! I appreciate the nomination, considering what a total wanker I am when it comes to kind of fucking off the requirements of getting the awards. I really need to work on my blog over the holidays, which includes trying to get my damn widgets to work!! Thanks again!!

  29. Looks like you’re making your own niche.
    Nice to meet you!

  30. I married a fat bottomed girl. (She makes my world go ’round, y’know?)

Wandered over here by way of Trent Lewin’s gym post, by the way.

  31. I posted your letter in the “series of letters”. There are a few nice comments if you want to acknowledge them. Thanks again for contributing.

  32. I just checked and for whatever reason I had never officially “Follow”-ed you! So Hullo. We are old friends. And yes, it is I that has made your stats jump, because I started at the beginning. XOXO

  33. I do not own the image. You will need to contact the artist.

  34. It dawns on me, with the title of this blog being what it is, and people hitting the “About” page 94% of the time in hopes of seeing photos, and you being an accomplished attention hoor (I always say that with an exaggerated New York Jewish accent, because fun), that there should be some booty shots happening here.

I don’t mean the ones where liquor is being consumed from tiny glasses balanced on your back forty by a guy bending over with his hands held behind his back…but no judgment.

No, I mean some honest-to-goodness curve evidence. I’m visualizing a beautiful nature scene with one polka dot-emblazoned cheek entering the photo from the right. Or a beach setting with all kinds of swimsuit action going on and a nice watercolor filter at sunset. Or a super close up of just the top few inches of crack with a daisy perched proudly inside. Or a trick shot of your rump standing in as the blurry hills of a landscape scene–got any photographer friends you can trust?

    Pinterest, eat your heart out.

    • All those photo options are excellent, and I might actually use them sometime. I guess I somewhat naively never thought anyone would be interested in viewing the ample curve of my ass, aside from my man.

      • Trust me, girl. For every appreciator who is openly staring, there are five taking us in out of the corner of their eye. It’s the price of being delicious.

    • Where have you been??? I’ve been taking breaks off and on to work on some personal issues. Have considered giving up blogging altogether, but can’t quite bring myself to do it. It’s not filling the same need it used to. Hope you’re doing well!

I understand the need to take a break from time to time. However, your gifts of writing and relating to others on such a warm level are far too precious to keep entirely to yourself .

Like it or not, you’ve been nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award. nyinstant.wordpress.com/2015/04/21/eat-your-heart-out/

    • Thanks for the award! I’m terrible at them! Never have been able to figure out how to post all those little pictures of them on the side of my page. Lol Appreciate the thought though. Thanks for reading and following!

        You’re welcome!

WordPress has support pages that actually explain how to do just about everything. Just follow the instructions. It really is rather simple. By the way, the little pictures you mentioned are added by WordPress via the “My Community” widget.

      • I’ve tried following their instructions and I still can’t ever seem to do it. I’m technologically challenged.

If not, you’re welcome to contact me at nyinstant@inbox.com — as much as I might be able to, I’m willing to give you a hand.

      • Thanks for the offer of help! 🙂 I might just enlist it some time.
